Our Preliminary task:
One of the things that we had to do for our AS media coursework is create a short clip which demonstrates the 180 degree rule, match on action and shot reverse shot.
Evaluation:
Our preliminary video showed the 180 degree rule, shot reverse shot and match on action. Although the key objective of the preliminary task was met I feel that we could have made some improvements. For example I think that it could be less clunky in the way it was shot and have better transitions between each shot to make it feel more smooth. There wasn't very much story to the clip but this was not the aim of the clip we simply had to demonstrate our understanding of things like the 180 degree rule, match on action and shot reverse shot which I think we achieved.
